I believe in the golden rule; that is treating people in a way in which you would want to be treated. Sometimes doing the right thing is not in your own best interest (doesn't make you money), however, I will never recommend anything to you that I wouldn't to my own family or a friend.

Jax Honest Tech offers a wide variety of services to keep your computer(s) running at their best. I charge a modest minimum fee to come to you and it covers the first half hour, then I try and flat-rate repairs as much as possible.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Slow performance tune-ups
- Memory and storage upgrades
- Operating system upgrades
- Malware clean-up and protection
- File backups
- Wireless & LAN networking
- Printers
It's just $40 for me to come to your home, business or other location within Duval & Clay counties. I charge a modest travel fee if you are further out.
The initial charge covers the first half hour and it's $40 for each additional half hour. However, I otherwise handle billing in a flat-rate model as much as possible. Generally speaking, my top rate on service for one computer/issue is $160 (two total hours of actual "bench working time"). Most repairs are between $40 to $160 without a replacement part(s).
A good, general "rule of thumb:" If the repair will cost more than one half the current value of the computer, then you might want to consider putting that money towards a replacement computer. That's a conversation I will have with you.
